Wednesday morning causing downed trees, power lines and slick
roads. In the Villages of Urbana alone, damage on younger trees
(as those pictured above) was heavy. Temperatures are hovering
at or near freezing throughout the day and are projected to go
below freezing again in the evening hours making roads
treacherous again.

Three
Banks, a Giant and a Waffle House
No, it's not a sitcom airing on ABC this fall, it's what's
coming to town center. Banks slated for development are
Fredericktown Bank, Sandy Springs National Bank and Chevy Chase
Bank. They join the Waffe House and a Daycare Center as
our first inhabitants of the new Urbana. Also, word comes
from a Giant employee that an internal newsletter says that a
Giant Supermarket is all but a done deal in Urbana and that it
may start construction sooner than you think. Stay
tuned....
