Adventure Park USA Gains Approval, Plans Opening 2004
Adventure Park USA, a proposed Family Entertainment Center
received site plan approval and is moving forward with
development. The $10.5 Million center will be located in
New Market, Maryland along Interstate 70. The park is to
include go karts, bumper boats, batting cages, 8,000 square foot
arcade, simulator, miniature golf, 75-100 seat cafeteria and 5
birthday rooms. The park will be owned and operated by
Larry Stottlemyer and his wife Angie who have run Frederick Put
Putt and games in Frederick since 1979.

Frederick Celtic Festival Comes To Urbana!
The St. Andrew's Society of Mid-Maryland, Inc. will host its 5th
annual Frederick Celtic Festival at the Urbana Fairgrounds on
Saturday, May 8, 2004. Festival hours are 10am to 6pm, rain or
shine. This inexpensive family event will feature various Celtic
entertainers, Scottish clan tents, and vendors of Celtic goods,
including authentic Scottish and Irish food.

Community Yard Sale / Spring Fling
The Second Annual Villages of Urbana Community Yard Sale will be
held on June 7th from 8 am to 2 p.m. Be sure to mark the date on
your calendar! Resident information on how to participate
will be forthcoming via email from the community association.
Also of note, the Villages of Urbana Spring Fling will take
place on May 3, 2003 from 1 pm to 4 pm. Activities are planned
for all ages.
