Chevy
Chase Bank Nears Completion, But...
Work is nearing completion on the new Chevy Chase Bank that will
be a cornerstone in the new downtown Urbana, but we here at
UrbanaMaryland.com have to ask, "what is up with the parking lot
lights?" The whole feeling for the new development and
town center of Urbana has been Neo-Traditional from the start.
The street lights along Sugarloaf parkway echo this as does the
design of homes in the town center area. So, we have to
wonder why modern looking "box" lights were used in the Chevy
Chase Bank parking lot, breaking the classic small town theme?
