Waffle
House Finally Opens!
It
seems the Urbana Community has been waiting a long time since it
was first announced that a Waffle House would be opening it's
doors here. It finally has happened as the first yesterday
marked their first official day open, and the UrbanaMaryalnd.com
staff was among the first guests to sample in the tasty
offerings. By the time we left around 6:30pm yesterday,
all tables and booths were full, and there were a few customers
waiting. Hopefully, other food chains will pick up on the
fact that "Urban-ites" are starved (pun intended) for a variety
of food offerings in our new town center.

Urbana, Maryland Based Travel Site, INTERCOT Raising Funds To Support "Pixie Dust For Sam"
The
INTERCOT Pixie Dust Chain of support is legendary and has helped
comfort many members of the site over the years. Now,
INTERCOT has a member who needs more Pixie Dust than has ever
been mustered before. Little Sam Wood (who just turned 2) is
fighting T-cell ALL Leukemia and is in line for a bone marrow
transplant. His family needs assistance in covering the
post-transplant expenses. We're hoping that you can help Sam by
contributing to his cause. As a thank you for members that do
contribute, INTERCOT has obtained a limited supply of special
silicone wristbands. They’re gold and bear the phrase
“INTERCOT.COM – PIXIE DUST FOR SAM”.
